I know.. once again, I have been terrible at blogging. I have been super busy trying to get everything ready for the wedding. I feel like my brain is going to explode. I thought I was done with everything, boy was I wrong! The few minor details that are left, are driving me crazy! I promise as soon as Jacob and I are happily married =) I will get back on track with this whole blogging thing!

As you all know, it snowed like crazy Friday. Kadence was able to go outside Saturday and enjoy it. Here are some pictures.....
Well in an attempt to keep this thing updated, I suppose I could write about what is going on in our little world....
~ Jake finally finished building his shop. Someone keeps insisting on breaking in and taking his tools, little by little. Yes, I am very aggrivated at the situation.
~ Kadence is turning 4 on Sunday. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. It seems like yesterday she was being born... Ahh, my sweet little girl. (not really so much "little" anymore)
~ We are trying to set a meeting time with the Pastor of the Church we attend to get some wedding details in order. Not really working out so well (Jake is working out of town off and on)
~ I am finding peace and happiness in the little things in life and trying not to let everything going on around me overwhelm me. God has blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I am learning to appreciate what I do have and not stress about what I don't.
~ We have a camping trip coming up in the next couple of weeks. Yay! I am so so excited to go. I have been looking forward to going ALL winter.
~ I have started reading Karen Kingsbury's books. I have read two already and I am starting on a third. I am loving her books. They are Christian fiction. Awesome...awesome...

Well, we have a new addition to our little family. His name is Max. He is a 6 wk old rotweiller. He is so cute and so sweet. He is my early birthday present. Kadence adores him! The picture below is him sleeping in my lap on his back! I just love this little guy.
I love to find a good deal. I will actually go out of my way to try and find one. Well, today I found one! I have been needing to get Kadence a flower girl dress. The one I wanted to get her at David's Bridal is $110. I just happened to go into Tenderly Used today and found the exact dress in her size for $50. There is nothing wrong with it either. I just need to buy the pool colored sash for it. Yay! I love saving money!
Wow, it has been a really long time since I have posted a blog. There has been so many things going on since Christmas. The year is already flying by. A quick run down on everything:
~ My Uncle Spike passed away on Feb. 11th.
~ Feb. 22nd marked a year since my mother has been gone.
~ Jacob and I have been together for 2 yrs now.
~ Draven turned 1
~ Jacob turned 27 (wow he's old!)
~ And this coming Thursday is my mom's birthday....
~ O and in about two weeks, my "little" girl is turning 4! Wow!
I can honestly say that I have been through more the past year than I thought I would be able to bare. God has given me a strength I never knew I possessed. I am finding comfort through Him these days. Jake and I have started attended church and are loving it!! I have found so much knowledge and understanding. I am looking at life through a different set of eyes. I am dealing with my problems differently also. My amazing Aunt is to thank for all of this. I am so glad she convinced me to start attending her church. I could never thank her enough. I am learning a love I have never known before.
I promise to TRY to start posting more often. I will try to post some new pic's of Kadence later!
